Pronounced “I-A-Max” (eye-ay-maks)

The name comes from interconnected autonomous machines - a concept that captivated me while studying routing protocols like OSPF and BGP. Each router in a network is autonomous, making its own decisions about the best path forward. Yet they’re all interconnected, sharing information, learning from each other. No single router sees the complete picture, but together they form the resilient network we call the internet.

This mirrors how I see modern cloud architecture - autonomous services, each with its own view and purpose, interconnecting to create something far more powerful than any individual component. Whether it’s Kubernetes pods, microservices, or AI agents learning from each other, the pattern remains: autonomous yet interconnected, independent yet unified.
